🔴 Pursue your goals. Achieve your goals. And more importantly, develop your character. 🔴 Role ambiguity is when one does not know what needs to be done and/or how and when tasks need to be completed. Role conflict is when one has all the tools, sufficient training, and is at a standstill due to opposing expectations (such as having 2 direct reports). Both of these are known to be correlated with low job satisfaction and high burnout rates, leading to every company's biggest worries: turnover. 🔴 If you want doers, give them tasks. If you want achievers, help develop their goals. If you want Leaders, entrust them with decision making. And if you want to lead others, Lead the Team with empowerment. #MPower #empowerment #leadership #leadershipmindset #mindset 🔴 Get that team together. Build that cohesion. Share objectives. Lead with empowerment. 💯 🔴 In order to make feedback effective, tie the feedback with their goals. Otherwise, your feedback is rendered pointless. Literally. Feedback is meant to POINT in the right direction. Without knowing what their goals are, how can you provide the right kind of feedback? 🔴 Your Team's ability to do their job well is a direct reflection of your Leadership, especially when you're the one interacting, training, mentoring, partnering, and/or guiding them. Communicate concisely. Strive for their understanding of their job and standards. As it is part of practicing great Leadership. 🔥 🔴 In my mind, I've found myself "scrolling" and "scanning" through pieces of information, from past experiences to all the hypotheticals possible. Sometimes it's easy to extract and apply it to solve a problem at hand. Other times, it's more like extracting bits and pieces from all over, and putting them together to build a new framework. 🔴 Different delegations create different outcomes.
